a garden wonder inside a bowl
Terrariums can be described as small ecological systems within a confined space. They can be kept indoors which makes it appealing to those who don't have an outdoor garden space and they are also intriguingly beautiful making any office, dining or celebratory space inviting. The plants chosen in a Terrarium are shade loving with different contrasting colours and textures exuberating the same unparalleled beauty as flowers which means you don't have to compromise on nature.
Shaily was inspired to create Terrariums after seeing that across India nothing compared to the quality of plant beauty as that what she saw in Australia. Her aim was to create a small Australian oasis right here in India - so after many months of frustrating experiments with different plants and subsequent disappointments, Shaily succeeded in creating a perfectly matched ecological habitat for plants. Her goal was to devise a natural paradise for people to enjoy anytime and anywhere. She found that people always asked for indoor flowers but as flowers can never bloom indoors she instead chose a colour palette similar to flowers but in pure plant form. This way it was possible to have lots of colours and beauty in a Terrarium but that which can survive indoors. Thus Shaily’s concept of a garden in a glass bowl was born.
